Here in Moscow, this Saturday (June 7th) from 10-2pm is the Officer Newbill Kid’s Safety Fair.
It’s the event of the year for kid’s safety. Lots of free stuff including free helmets, free car seat checks (they’ll give you a free car seat if yours is out of date) helmet decorating with reflective stickers, free food, jumpy gym, heli-copters tours, etc. etc. Here’s the web-site for all the details. http://www.newbillkidssafetyfair.com/
Safe Routes to School has been on the board for this Safety Fair all year. We look forward to working with the Moscow Police Department, Gritman Therapy Solutions and our other community partners to create our best yet Bike Rodeo and helmet decorating stations.
We’re encouraging kids to bring their own bikes to the fair so they can practice their bike skills in the Bike Rodeo, earn a free reflective bike light from Gritman, and get their bike tuned up for free from Paradise Creek Bikes.
