iWalk at Russell Elementary

Here’s a summary of what happened at Russell Elementary this year for International Walk to School day:

• 3 UI football players came to talk with the students and encourage them to walk to school
• 2 other UI volunteers came to help pass out reflective lights and organize games
• Giant games of tag and relays were played

UI Volunteer comments:

“I made one of the football players play tag with the kids while handed out the lights. The time went by super fast once we got the games going.”
