Find the Polar Bear on your way to school!
Each school will be doing a different thing with their bears so when you find it, show your teacher. You may be able to take it home!
Ideas to participate:
- Dress warmly
- If you can’t walk the whole way to school, ask your parents to drop you off a couple of blocks from school and walk in together.
- Walk with a friend
- Park and Walk locations can provide a spot where many parents can drop their kids and kids can walk in together.
- Walking School buses – with a parent a both ends, and a pre-discribed route, students can join the school buses as it passes near their homes.
